Botanical Styling Workshops for Creative Kids (approx. 9–12 years)

Does your child have a natural eye for beautiful things, a love for green, and a true flair for styling? Welcome to the Eden Spaces Junior Academy!

At the Eden Spaces Junior Academy we don't just craft – we create! We give kids their own styling playground, packed with premium materials, professional design tips and structural guidelines to bring their own artistic botanical concepts to life.

In a small, focused group limited to just 5 spaces, our light-filled Wintergarden in Schöfflisdorf becomes a hands-on creative studio. The kids will discover the beauty of organic textures, learn the secrets of visual balance and explore a structured way of working with premium natural materials.

The Program

Autumn Block

A 3-week journey on Wednesday afternoons from 14:00 to 16:30. Each 2.5-hour workshop balances a brief concept introduction—including creating an initial design moodboard—with focused hands-on assembly and a short refreshment break.

Oct. 28, 2026 | Module 1: Japanese Kokedama & Custom Display

An introduction to the traditional Japanese art of Kokedama (moss string gardens). The kids create a living botanical sculpture using a selected houseplant encased in raw moss. They will then learn how to showcase their creation by designing a custom display—choosing between styling a modern geometric hanger or crafting a minimalist base element.

Nov. 4, 2026 | Module 2: Minimalist Moss Art & Wood Monograms

An immersive, hands-on workshop focusing on texture, depth, and visual composition. Working inside a deep wooden shadow-box frame, the kids dive into the world of botanical art. They will learn how to curate, scale, and layer premium preserved elements—combining velvety cushion moss, flat moss, and structured tree bark to create a clean, modern layout or a bold custom monogram.

Nov. 11, 2026 | Module 3: Glowing Hydroponics

A minimalist lighting project that showcases the beauty of plants growing in water. The kids style a selected plant entirely soil-free inside a clear glass flask filled with pebbles of choice. Placed on a solid wooden base, a warm LED light illuminates the exposed root structures from below—making it the ultimate design piece to complete their three-week botanical collection.

• The Experience: CHF 215.– for the full 3-week block, including all premium design materials and refreshments during the break.

• The Studio Vibe: Our Wintergarden opens right into the garden and lives with the seasons. Since it is unheated and we work with raw, organic materials, warm layers and clothes that are allowed to get dirty are highly recommended.

​​

• Our Studio Pets: A cat, two friendly dogs, and chickens live here and love to be around the creative energy. To ensure a relaxed experience for everyone, this block is best suited for children who are not afraid of animals and have no known allergies to fur or feathers.​​​​
